If you would like to recieve news of exhibitions, events and whatnot please send an email to info@theframers.net and i'll add you to our mailing list.
The Custard Factory
Welcome
studio4gallery Early 2005 Beat13 moved their gallery space into Studio4 at The Framers situated at the Custard Factory in Birmingham's creative quarter. It was a move of hope towards a brighter future for the local creative scene and was a natural progression to join forces with fellow Brummies 'The Outcrowd’ collective. This symbiotic move has forged a strong presence in the otherwise sparse alternative/contemporary art movement of the west midlands. Work exhibited is by artists such as Lucy McLauchlan & Matt Watkins of Beat13, Outcrowd founders Log Roper & Simon Peplow and there sprawling collective . Also for sale are t-shirts, sculpture, collectables, bags, wallets, prints, origonals, magazines, fanzines and loads of limited prints by international giants such as Jamie Hewlett, Dave Kinsey, Jeremy Fish, Shephard Fairey, Banksy, Faile, The Scrawl Collective as well as hot new emerging talent. We also have on sight specialist framing facility at the adjoining framers workshop. Keep an eye out for new strong exhibitions by some of the finest solo and group collaborations, from local talented scribblers to international showcases. Many more treats coming soon...
